Technical Project Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to join Eku’s rapidly growing Battery Energy Storage business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
Eku’s Battery Energy Storage business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of BESS projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
In this role, you will be working within the Asset Delivery & Management team working closely with the Head of Technical - EMEA and the Strategic Procurement Manager - EMEA and to deliver the execution strategy during the development, construction operations phase. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies to ensure Quality and Health, Safety and Environment project requirements are met, and ensure interfaces with contractors and stakeholders are identified and appropriately managed. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for co-ordinating and driving the development and construction activities to efficiently advance the pipeline of projects through the development and construction phases.
REQUIREMENTS
You will ideally be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ working experience and having held project management roles on energy projects in various stages of the project lifecycle. You will be highly motivated, with a versatile personality and excellent interpersonal skills, ready for working in a fast-paced environment with pressing delivery dates while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will bring strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of complex energy projects and the ability to exchange with and understand subject experts.
Your experience and knowledge of BESS development and construction activities coupled with excellent project management credentials, will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role.
