An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to work in our Melbourne or Sydney office supporting Eku’s APAC region.

You will collaborate with our teams in Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo and Taipei, and globally, to ensure the people agenda remains aligned with HR and business strategies and corporate HR principles and practices. 

This is a fast-paced environment with fluid priorities and the need for streamlined response requiring someone with the ability to build strong business relationships, to establish a high level of personal credibility and knowledge, and to leverage internal and external specialist resources.

Bringing both an HR operational and strategic approach you will be an advisor to the business, advising and consulting with all levels of management on people and talent management strategies required to support and enable business strategy.

Your collaborative approach will be utilized to ensure effective delivery of recruitment, learning & development, reward, global mobility and employee relations matters. As well as providing regional input into the development of Eku-wide strategies and programs and contribute to broader HR projects, including global initiatives as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within an international HR team at HRBP level.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • CIPD Level 5 or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
